Two suspects failed to get away in a U-Haul truck after fatally shooting a 44-year-old District man in a midday Charles County argument, according to the sheriff's office.
Rayvon Gordon, 50, and Anton Jermain Wood, 22, are both facing murder and other charges in connection to the fatal shooting of Antione Jerome Whitaker, who was found shot to death in Waldorf earlier this week.

Men, Woman Charged With Knifepoint Viers Mill Road Carjacking In Silver Spring, Police Say
Two weeks after a man was carjacked at knifepoint near a Montgomery County gas station, the three people who planned it out have been apprehended for their roles in the conspiracy, police say.
Detectives announced on Monday that three suspects have been arrested and charged in connection to a Viers Mill Road carjacking earlier this month in Silver Spring.
Those charged:
Lascelles Alonzo Greenwood, 27, of Silver Spring;
Alei Imani Cook, 27, who has no fixed address;
Dewayne Davis, 35, who has no known address.
