One person was killed overnight in a fire that broke out inside a Frederick County home, officials confirmed. First responders were called around 9:15 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5 to the 11000 block of Highland School Road, where there was a reported fire in Myersville. Nearly a million dollars in damage was caused when a butcher shop fire spread to a home of a vacant home that has stood for more than a century in Maryland, officials say. First responders were called shortly before 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21, to the 5000 block of Stone Boundary Road in Cambridge, where the owner of a butcher shop reported a fire that rapidly spread to nearby structures. A driver suffered critical injuries after driving through a Prince George's County home late on Tuesday afternoon. First responders were called shortly before 5:15 p.m. on Aug. 6 to the 3100 block of Church Street in Glenarden, where there was a possible collapse reported when a minivan smashed into an area home.
