Crews had to make a tricky rescue in Baltimore County on Wednesday afternoon when an unsuspecting man plummeted 30 feet into a well. First responders from the Baltimore County Fire Department were called at around 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 16 to the 2100 block of Old Frederick Road in Catonsville, when a man found himself in a perilous position after suffering injuries falling into the well on an area property. An 8-year-old boy who suffered critical injuries and had to be rescued from a Baltimore County house fire died at the hospital, officials say. A 43-year-old Maryland man died and several others were injured in a two-alarm Baltimore County apartment fire on Monday morning, officials confirmed. Firefighter, Resident Injured During Maryland Apartment Fire That Left Dozens Displaced
More than a dozen apartments were deemed uninhabitable in Howard County and a firefighter was injured when a blaze broke out early on Saturday morning. At around 5:30 a.m. Howard County Fire and EMS crews were called to the 6000 block of Orchard Club Drive in Elkridge, where there was a reported fire in the area. Seven firefighters were injured when two tankers, from two different companies, collided on the way to a massive warehouse fire in South Central Pennsylvania on Friday night, according to separate releases issued the following morning, July 13.
