A woman fought off a man who grabbed her on a Virginia walking trail Wednesday night, escaped his grasp, and made it to safety before calling 911, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. The attack happened around 8:30 p.m. on July 15, in the area of Algonkian Parkway and Lowes Island Boulevard in Loudoun County. Thousands of Panasonic toaster ovens are being recalled because a problem with the power cord can create shock and fire hazards. Panasonic Corporation of North America issued the recall for about 11,480 Electric Toaster Ovens, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said on Thursday, July 16. Another 2,184 toaster ovens were sold in Canada. The power cord's insulation can be insufficient because a protective fiberglass sleeve doesn't adequately cover it.
