Family, Police Searching For Answers After Father Found Shot To Death In Maryland Woods A massive reward is being offered for information that results in the apprehension of a shooting suspect wanted in connection to the murder of a 35-year-old father in Montgomery County. At approximately 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, officers were called to the 9200 block of New Hampshire Avenue, where they found Silver Spring resident Carlos Alberto Ortiz in a nearby wooded area suffering from gunshot wounds.
