A 19-year-old high school student who had plans to commit a school shooting in Montgomery County was convicted of making threats of mass violence, authorities announced on Wednesday. Rockville resident Alex (Andrea) Ye was arrested last year following an investigation after the FBI notified Montgomery County Public Schools about a 129-page "manifesto" authored by the teen. Man Threatening To Blow Up, Burn Down Maryland Motel 6 Arrested: Fire Marshal
A 28-year-old man threatened to blow up a Maryland hotel he was staying at that led to a temporary evacuation, according to the fire marshal. Hagerstown resident Michael Sean Hafer is facing charges after being arrested for threatening to blow up and burn down the Motel 6 he was staying at in the 11300 block of Massey Boulevard. Additionally, investigators say that he also told guests he was making pipe bombs to carry out the nefarious - and hollow - scheme. Teen Responsible For Bomb Threat That Forced Maryland High School Evacuation, Police Say
A teenager has been identified as the person who was responsible a bomb threat that forced an evacuation at a Montgomery County high school. Officers from the Montgomery County Department of Police were called to the Walt Whitman High School on Friday morning to investigate a reported threat.
