A woman who couldn't pull the trigger during a pair of botched armed robberies at Montgomery County McDonald's has been arrested, authorities announced. Carrie Lynn Nelson, 41, has been arrested and charged for her role in two separate attempted armed robberies that were reported minutes apart in Gaithersburg. Mother Admits To Abusing, Neglecting Adopted Children In Maryland: State's Attorney
A Montgomery County mother is facing time in prison and will have to give up her adopted children after admitting to abusing them, the state's attorney's office announced on Friday. Lora Loethen, 55, was convicted of second-degree child abuse and five counts of child neglect after pleading guilty on Thursday following an investigation into dozens of reports and police visits involving her adopted family in Damascus.
