William “Father Bill” Mannion, 62, was arrested Monday, March 24, and charged with second-degree child abuse and multiple sex offenses, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Police say the abuse happened between 1991 and 1994 at a property in the 600 block of St. Agnes Lane, where Mannion was serving as a priest.

The victim was a child at the time.

Initial allegations first came to light in October 2023 when the survivor reported the abuse to detectives with the department’s Crimes Against Children Unit, police said.

Following an extensive investigation, Mannion was taken into custody and charged.

Authorities say the investigation is still active and believe there may be more victims. Anyone with information is urged to contact Baltimore County Police.
