Gabriel Gomez-Fiorenza, 27, was arrested and charged with multiple counts of murder in connection to the fatal shooting of Amy Armstrong this week, authorities announced on Tuesday.
According to the Baltimore Police Department, officers were called at around 3:45 a.m. on Oct. 28 to the 3700 block of Toone Street in the Brewers Hill neighborhood to investigate a reported shooting.
Upon arrival, they found Armstrong suffering from a gunshot wound and she was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.
Investigators said that the pair got into a domestic-related dispute that resulted in the fatal shooting.
Gomez-Fiorenza was arrested in Baltimore County without incident.
He was taken to the Central Booking Intake facility, where he was charged with first- and second-degree murder, as well as first- and second-degree aggravated assault.
