A deadly dispute on a Baltimore bus has ended with an arrest, police say. Following a near two-week investigation into the fatal incident, a 61-year-old Baltimore man is in custody after allegedly shooting and killing a passenger during an argument on a bus in the Central District, according to city police. There will be service disruptions for Maryland subway riders this weekend, officials are cautioning. All MTA Metro Subway stations will be closed to allow the organization to test a new Communications Based Train Control system that should be fortuitous for travelers following the closure. Officials said that "the CTBC is a critical piece of infrastructure that will support the new Metro Subway railcars that will begin service in mid-2025." This marks the first test. Teen Accused Of Killing Popular 14-Year-Old At Maryland Metro Station
A 15-year-old teen has been arrested for his alleged role in the fatal shooting of Jasper Davis in a Baltimore Metro station earlier this month. At approximately 8:10 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, officers from the Baltimore Police Department were called to the Mondawin Metro Center in the 2300 block of Liberty Heights Avenue, where they found Davis, 14, and a 19-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds. An 18-year-old wanted in connection to the fatal stabbing of a teen boy on an MTA bus on Wednesday has been charged, according to the Baltimore Police Department.
