Sifrido Villalobos' final moments were like something out of a movie before his death in an I-95 crash. The Silver Spring resident was heading home from work early on Thursday, Aug. 29 in the area of Jessup when he was involved in a chain-reaction crash involving he and three other drivers. The Old Farmer's Almanac has released its winter weather predictions for the 2024-25 season. This year's title speaks for itself: "The 2025 Old Farmer’s Almanac Forecasts a 'Calmer, Gentler' Winter." There was a fatal pedestrian crash in a work zone along I-95 in Harford County on Tuesday morning, state police say. Shortly after 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 6, troopers were called to the southbound lanes of the interstate near the Maryland 152 overpass in Joppa, where there was a crash involving a pedestrian and dump truck.
