Tour Bus Erupts In Flames At Maryland Park-And-Ride, Sending One To Hospital: Officials A tour bus erupted into flames at a Maryland park-and-ride lot on Friday, sending thick smoke skyward and one person to the hospital, officials said. The fiery spectacle broke out just before 11:30 a.m. on May 30 at the park-and-ride lot on Georgia Avenue near MD-200 (ICC), according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue. Photos from the scene show heavy charring across the side of a Coach USA bus, with blown-out windows, scorched seats, and damage near the rear wheels where the blaze appears to have originated.  Foam from fire suppression efforts surrounded the wreckage. Three Dead In Head-On Maryland Crash Involving Senior-Living Facility Bus, Dump Truck: State PD An investigation has been launched following a triple fatal crash involving a senior-living assisted living facility bus and dump truck in Charles County, state police say. Shortly before 8 a.m. on Friday morning, police say the bus was heading west on Port Tobacco Road in Nanjemoy, when for unknown reasons, the driver lost control and struck the dump truck, which was heading east, head-on.
