A bright fireball streaked across the East Coast on Monday, Nov. 11, catching the attention of hundreds of people from Connecticut to Virginia (did you see it? Days after being re-elected, longtime Virginia Rep. Gerry Connolly announced that he has been diagnosed with esophagus cancer. On the day that she died, Lauren Johnson-Lavender, 69, shared a Facebook photo of her family's vehicle packed and ready for what appears to be a lengthy trip out of Massachusetts. A Maryland man who offered a teenager cash for sexual favors at a Metro Station in Virginia and continued to pursue her is facing multiple charges, the Fairfax County Police Department announced on Monday night.
