Trump's Approval Rating Shifts In Survey By Top-Rated Pollster Measuring Tariff Response
A new national poll from a top-rated research firm shows public opinion shifting after President Trump nears the three-month mark of his second term.
The latest survey by AtlasIntel, conducted Wednesday, April 10, through Sunday, April 14, among 2,347 US adults, found that 52 percent disapprove of Trump’s performance, while 46 percent approve — a net approval rating of minus 6 points.
That marks a continued slide from March, when Trump’s net rating was minus 5 points, and February, when he briefly held a positive rating of plus 0.6.

Not so fast.
Just days after new guidance was released by the government stated that machines used to make semiconductors, flat-screen TVs, tablets, and desktop computers are excluded from President Trump’s 125 percent tariff on Chinese goods, the administration is now saying those exemptions are only temporary.
In a social media post on Truth Social on Sunday, April 13, Trump said there are “no exceptions,” and tariffs will apply to those items, apparently clarifying the US Customs and Border Protection bulletin issued Friday, April 11.

Riders Suffer Broken Bones As Segway Scooters Fold Mid-Ride, Sparking Massive Recall
Two popular Segway electric scooters are being recalled after dozens of riders were injured when the handlebars or stem collapsed mid-ride, sending some crashing to the ground.
More than 220,000 Segway Ninebot Max G30P and Max G30LP KickScooters are affected by the recall, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said in a news release on Thursday, Mar. 20.
Segway has received 68 reports of folding mechanism failures, according to the CPSC. The incidents include 20 injuries such as abrasions, bruises, lacerations, and broken bones.
