A man in a wheelchair was fatally struck by a Peter Pan bus outside 30th Street Station in Philadelphia’s University City, authorities announced on Thursday, Aug. 7. The crash happened just before 9:35 a.m. at the intersection of Market Street and Schuylkill Avenue, steps from one of the city’s busiest transit hubs. A 49-year-old home healthcare worker that failed to check in on his patient, who was found injured after jumping out of a Frederick County apartment building will spend time behind bars, the state's attorney's office announced.
