A multi-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer that leaked fuel onto I-270 tied up traffic on Tuesday afternoon in Montgomery County. In advance of the evening commute in Gaithersburg, several northbound lanes were blocked on Oct. 22 when a truck was involved n a multi-vehicle crash that resulted in fuel being spilled onto the roadway. According to a Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services spokesperson, the crash left the truck with a ruptured fuel saddle tank. Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By Pick-Up Truck, Car In Baltimore County, Police Say
The Baltimore Police Department has identified the 52-year-old man who was killed after being struck by two vehicles crossing the road. Jose Rivas was attempting to cross Liberty Road in the area of Brubar Court in Gwynn Oak on Friday night, when he was struck by both a 2014 Dodge Ram and a 2017 Nissan Altima. The crash was reported at around 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 18. Both drivers stayed at the scene after striking him. Rivas was pronounced dead at the scene by Baltimore County Fire Department personnel. A rollover crash caused chaos for some motorists on I-95 on Wednesday afternoon as first responders investigated in Howard County. Before 3 p.m. on Oct. 16, police and emergency crews responded to the northbound lanes of the interstate near MD-175, where there was a reported crash that blocked several lanes.
