Montgomery County Baby’s Death Leads To Murder Charge For Mother: Police A Gaithersburg mother has been arrested and charged with murder after police say she drowned her 3-month-old daughter during a bath on Sunday, Dec. 8. Mackenzie Rose Colgan, 37, was taken into custody at her home in the 7300 block of Summit Avenue after detectives from Montgomery County Police’s Major Crimes Division identified her as the suspect.
