Woman Found Dead, Man Rescued From Fast-Moving Overnight Bethesda House Fire
A woman was killed and a man was hospitalized overnight when a fast-moving fire tore through a Maryland home, officials say. Around 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue crews were called to the 9100 block of Charred Oak Drive in Bethesda after a neighbor reported a house fire in the area. Phish has spoken out after a fatal stabbing outside the band's concert in Virginia over the weekend. Shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 19, officers were called to the Hampton Coliseum during a Phish show to investigate reports of a stabbing involving at least two victims. According to the Hampton Police Department, investigators believe an argument took place among a group of people that escalated into a physical altercation. Hit-Run Driver Sought After Pedestrian Dies Months After Crash In Maryland: Police
A pedestrian struck in an October hit-and-run in Temple Hills has died from his injuries, the Prince George’s County Police Department announced on Wednesday. Deon Anthony Smith, 47, who had no fixed address, passed away on Dec. 14, nearly two months after the crash, police said. Officers were initially called to the 4300 block of St. Barnabas Road on Oct. 17 to investigate a reported hit-and-run involving a pedestrian in the area.
