Bus Driver Critical After Crashing Into Maryland Building (Developing) A Metrobus driver is fighting for their life after crashing into a vacant building early Friday morning in Riverdale following an apparent medical emergency, officials said. The incident happened at 6:22 a.m. on the 6200 block of Rhode Island Avenue, where the bus careened off the road and into the structure.  The driver was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, according to authorities.
