Some residents were evacuated early on Tuesday morning after a blaze broke out in the 3400 block of Keswick Road in Hampden that spread to multiple rowhomes in the area.
It was initially called a three-alarm fire, but was upgraded to five alarms as the flames continued to spread.
The fire was declared under control before 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
No firefighters were injured, but one person was reportedly taken to an area hospital for evaluation of undisclosed injuries.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. It is unclear how many residents were displaced.
