Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By Pick-Up Truck, Car In Baltimore County, Police Say
The Baltimore Police Department has identified the 52-year-old man who was killed after being struck by two vehicles crossing the road. Jose Rivas was attempting to cross Liberty Road in the area of Brubar Court in Gwynn Oak on Friday night, when he was struck by both a 2014 Dodge Ram and a 2017 Nissan Altima. The crash was reported at around 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 18. Both drivers stayed at the scene after striking him. Rivas was pronounced dead at the scene by Baltimore County Fire Department personnel. A teen from Maryland who drove along the sidewalk of a busy Virginia trail while allegedly intoxicated before bailing on his vehicle was apprehended, police say. An investigation has been launched in Howard County after a man died at an area hospital following a crash on Thursday morning, police say. Officers from the Howard County Police Department were called shortly before 8:45 a.m. on June 20 to the 10500 block of Dorchester Way in Woodstock, where there was a reported crash involving a pedestrian and a 2017 Toyota Corolla. One Killed, One Critically Injured By Driver In Overnight Baltimore Crash: Police
Two 56-year-old men suffered serious injuries overnight after being struck by a driver in Baltimore, police say. Officers were called at around 11 p.m. on Saturday, June 15 to the 3400 block of Garrison Boulevard, where they were met by two people who were struck by a vehicle. According to a Baltimore Police Department spokesperson, the driver was heading east on Garrison Boulevard when it struck the two men, who were rushed to an area hospital, where one died and the other was listed in critical, but stable condition on Sunday morning.
