Frederick Douglass Moorefield, Jr., 63, pleaded guilty to federal charges that include conspiracy to engage in animal fighting, specifically the fighting of dogs, and interstate travel in aid of racketeering. Late on Sunday afternoon, first responders were called to a home in the 1400 block of Maryland Avenue, when a man suffered serious injuries after being shocked by the wire, investigators say.
