Teen Dies At Hospital Following Shooting At Maryland High School
A deadly shooting at Jappatowne High School is under investigation after a teen died after being airlifted to an area hospital on Friday, the sheriff's office confirmed. Harford County Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler said that 15-year-old Edgewood resident Grant Warren Curtis died at the hospital after being shot by a 16-year-old classmate on Sept. 6 in a bathroom at the school. One person was killed and a second hospitalized in a head-on crash in Harford County on Wednesday afternoon, state police say. Shortly before 1 p.m. on Aug. 28, Maryland State Police troopers were called to investigate a reported crash on Route 152 (Mountain Road) near Singer Road in Joppatowne, where there were two people with serious injuries. Knocking Neighbor Saves Sleeping Woman From Burning Home In Maryland: Fire Marshal
A 34-year-old woman got an unexpected wakeup call from her neighbor on Saturday morning when she was stirred by the pounding on her door that alerted her to a fire inside her Harford county home.
