A member of the Bowie Police Department has been placed on administrative leave after discharging a weapon that struck a vehicle, officials say. At approximately 8 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12, an officer pulled over to assist with what was believed to be a stranded motorist in the northbound Collington Road near US-50. 'Delays Building' After Crash Blocks All Lanes On US-50 Near Capital Beltway In Maryland
Several lanes were blocked on a busy Maryland roadway during the evening commute as crews investigated a crash in Prince George's County. All westbound lanes of US-50 were blocked at around 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8, with traffic only getting by along the left shoulder while police and first responders investigated. The afternoon commute was rough for some motorists in Maryland on Thursday who were blocked by traffic on the Bay Bridge for several miles in Anne Arundel County.
