Before settling into the Hudson Valley, Zak! previously spent time in the New York Daily News newsroom and worked for hyperlocal digital news outlets on Long Island. He wrote sports for The Ithacan and The Ithaca Journal before taking his talents to the Pacific Northwest, where he served as the sports editor at the Shoshone News-Press until heading back east to work with Daily Voice.

Baltimore Teen Arrested Months After Fatal Shooting Of 46-Year-Old Man: Police A 16-year-old boy has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with the fatal shooting of a Baltimore man earlier this year, authorities announced. Man Found Dead After Jump From Harry Nice Bridge In Maryland, Authorities Say A tragic scene unfolded at the Harry Nice Bridge on Wednesday morning in Charles County when emergency crews recovered the body of a man who reportedly jumped into the Potomac River, officials said. Maryland Man Fatally Shot In Garage By Acquaintance, Police Say Prince George’s County Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 57-year-old man in a garage on Tuesday morning.
