A 59-year-old man familiar with police for setting small fires in Carroll County involving boxes or bags of feces has been arrested for a new blaze at a Westminster Domino's location. What started as an investigation into a man breaking into parked vehicles at an auto repair shop on Saturday led to the arrest of George Cook, who was arrested over the weekend after being busted setting a fire in the back of the pizza joint. A 50-year-old Westminster man has been arrested and charged with the fatal stabbing of Miriam Glowacki in Carroll County over the weekend. Matthew Glowacki has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in connection to the death of the 45-year-old woman on Saturday, July 27. Five Westminster residents have been arrested - with a sixth reportedly taken into custody - in connection to an alleged kidnapping and assault in Carroll County, state police say.
