Woman Killed, Suspect Hospitalized After Police Pursuit In Maryland: Sheriff (Developing) One person is in custody following a fatal shooting in Lexington Park and police pursuit that spilled into Charles County, according to the sheriff's office. Deputies were called to investigate a reported gunshot victim in the 46000 block of Rosewood Drive in St. Mary's County in what was described as an isolated incident in the area. According to a spokesperson from the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office, shortly before noon, deputies engaged in a short-lived chase before apprehending a suspect implicated in the shooting.
