Teen Wearing Ankle Monitor Arrested In Robbery, Stolen Car Cases In Maryland
A 16-year-old boy already wearing an ankle monitor for previous offenses was arrested after being connected to a robbery and two stolen car cases, police said. Detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division arrested the teen on Dec. 4 after he was seen getting into a stolen car. When officers approached, he tried to run but was quickly caught. Investigators later linked him to an October robbery where a victim’s shoes and cell phone were stolen. A Charles County jury convicted a Waldorf man of second-degree murder after he ambushed and fatally shot another man outside a Bryans Road firehouse following a birthday celebration, authorities announced. Jahad Karim Frierson, 27, was found guilty on Tuesday, Dec. 3, following a nine-day trial for the murder of 46-year-old Leon Nathaniel Inabinett Jr., according to Charles County State’s Attorney Tony Covington. An ankle monitor couldn't keep a teen from reportedly committing a murder after a Baltimore man was found shot to death in a vehicle in Howard County, according to police. Days after Baltimore resident Kendrick McLellan, 26, was found dead inside a vehicle behind an area office building over the weekend, authorities announced that a 17-year-old was arrested in connection to his death.
