Eight Displaced By Two-Alarm Blaze At Cecil County Home Owned By Church: Fire Marshal A devastating blaze tore through a Cecil County home late on Monday morning, leaving eight people displaced and claiming the life of a family pet, according to the Maryland Fire Marshal. The blaze broke out around 11:30 a.m. on Jan. 14 in the kitchen of a two-story home owned by the Methodist Church of Perryville, investigators said. Contractor Airlifted To Hospital After Falling Out Of Truck, Into Foundation Of Maryland Home A construction worker in Harford County suffered serious injuries and had to be airlifted to an area hospital after falling out of a truck and into the foundation of a home in Joppa.  First responders were called before noon on Tuesday, Sept. 3 to the 1400 block of Philadelphia Road, where there was a reported injury at the construction site with a possibly unstable truck at the scene.
