Home Explosions, Fire, Rock Quiet Cecil County Community Disaster was largely averted on Monday morning when there was a reported explosion and fire inside a Cecil County home. First responders were called at around 9 a.m. on Oct. 21 to a home on Budds Landing Road in Warwick, where they were met with smoke emanating from the roof of the home.  The homeowner, who was found in the garage, confirmed that there had been two explosions in the home and that they were able to safely evacuate while shutting off the gas supply to the residence. 27 Vehicles Damaged By Fast-Moving Fire At Maryland Auto Auction Lot, Investigators Say More than two dozen cars were damaged by a fast-moving fire in a Cecil County lot overnight, according to investigators. Shortly before 10:40 p.m. on Sunday night, firefighters were called to Innovative Auto Auction (IAA) on Zeitler Road in Elkton, when a passerby reported seeing flames to the Singerly Fire Company. The fire sparked at 9:06 p.m., but wasn't called in until 10:39 p.m. on June 30, officials noted.
