Boy Scout Leader Charged With Sexual Abuse Of Minor In Maryland, Police Say A 56-year-old man who has been a Boy Scout leader for the past five years at a Howard County church is behind bars following an investigation into the alleged sexual abuse of a minor. Ellicott City resident James Alan Soltysiak has been arrested after a minor disclosed the alleged abuse, which began in May, last month to an adult, who contacted the police, leading to the probe and his arrest last week.
