A Massachusetts nurse who was apparently heading south for the winter was killed in a five-vehicle chain-reaction crash in Virginia. On the day that she died, Lauren Johnson-Lavender, 69, shared a Facebook photo of her family's vehicle packed and ready for what appears to be a lengthy trip out of Massachusetts. Two Killed, Two Hospitalized In Early Morning Maryland Shooting: State Police
Two people were killed and two others were hospitalized following a shooting early on Saturday morning in Cecil County, according to Maryland State Police. Delaware native Tamir Rasheek Davis, 26, has been identified by investigators as one of two who were fatally shot early on Saturday morning. He was pronounced dead at Christianna Hospital. Crews were kept busy overnight battling a reported five-alarm fire that impacted nearly a dozen homes in Baltimore, officials say. Some residents were evacuated early on Tuesday morning after a blaze broke out in the 3400 block of Keswick Road in Hampden that spread to multiple rowhomes in the area. Suspect Arrested For Fatal Double Shooting Near Baltimore County School, Police Say
A 44-year-old man was arrested and charged for a double shooting near a Baltimore County elementary school that left one dead and one hospitalized, police say. Peter Clark has been charged with first-degree murder in connection to the fatal shooting of Romy Bogier, 43, in the area of the White Oak School in Parkville. Two 56-year-old men suffered serious injuries overnight after being struck by a driver in Baltimore, police say.
