A firebug who violated the terms of his probation on a murder conviction is going to spend the rest of his life in prison after setting fire to a Maryland townhouse during a dispute last year. An accidental electrical fire in Baltimore County resulted in the 10th fatality reported in 2024 after a 76-year-old man died at the hospital. Fire crews were called at around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday night to the 500 block of Shamrock Lane in PIkesville, when a two-alarm blaze broke out. A death investigation has been launched in Maryland after a missing 53-year-old man's body was found in the bottom of a well outside his St. Mary's County home over the weekend amid a fire investigation, state police say.
