The sticky situation began when deputies conducted a traffic stop of Prince Frederick resident Barbara Ann Magruder, 46, after she made multiple traffic violations in the area of Fairground Road. Chloe Clagg, 20, has been identified by the sheriff's office as the pedestrian who was struck by 42-year-old Steven O'Neill's 2017 Toyota 4Runner and hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. Two men who went through great lengths to rob an ATM at a Calvert County CVS store before driving themselves into a corner are facing charges for burglary, according to the sheriff's office. Deputies were called to CVS in the 7900 block of Bayside Road in Chesapeake Beach to probe the forced entry of the store and to investigate the ATM inside, which had been damaged by power tools, officials said on Monday afternoon.
