Residents Rescued From Roof Of Maryland House Fire Some residents had to be rescued in Washington County on Saturday morning when a house fire broke out in Hagerstown, officials say. Crews were called shortly before 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 19 to the 200 block of Prospect Avenue where there was a smoke detector that activated inside an area row home.
