The Maryland Attorney General's Office has released body-worn camera footage from a fatal police-involved shooting last month that took the life of a knife-wielding 23-year-old in Frederick County. On Monday, Dec. 19, the Independent Investigations Division (IID) of the Offie of the Attorney General released the footage of the officer-involved shooting that wound up with Frederick resident Aaron Mensah with fatal wounds. Maryland AG Identifies Officers, Victim In Police-Involved Shooting
The Maryland Attorney General’s Independent Investigations Division (IID) has identified the officers and victim implicated in the police-involved shooting that happened over the weekend in Anne Arundel County. Harwood resident Anthony Hopkins, Sr., 48, was killed by police investigating a reported violent domestic incident after he allegedly fired gunshots at a cop car and pointed his gun at officers, who returned fire. Baltimore Officer Who Killed 'Undercover Comedian' Won't Be Charged: Report
The investigative report concerning a police-involved fatal shooting last October in Baltimore County has been released, authorities say. Charges will not be pressed against involved Baltimore County Police Officer, Lieutenant Gregory Mead in regards to the Oct. 11, 2021 shooting that killed Jovan Lewis Singleton, according to the Maryland Attorney General's Office. Singleton's obituary remembers him as a "fun and loving undercover comedian," who was passionate about fixing cars.
