A 69-year-old man walking in all-dark clothes in the middle of a Calvert County roadway was killed after being struck by a driver, according to the sheriff's office. Owings resident Michael Frank Brooks has been identified by investigators as the man killed last week by a woman driving a Toyota Rav4 in Chesapeake Beach. Dark clothes doomed an Anne Arundel man who was struck and killed by a driver in Glen Burnie on Thanksgiving, officials say. On Monday morning, the Anne Arundel County Police Department announced that Kevin Lee Crist, 54, died from his injuries after being struck by a Hyundai SUV while walking on Thanksgiving night in his hometown. Fatal Crash Closes Pulaski Highway In Joppa
A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car New Year's Day closing the Pulaski Highway in Joppatowne. The crash occurred around 7 p.m. on the westbound side near Joppa Road, firefighters said. Three other patients were hospitalized for treatment. It was not clear if they were pedestrians or vehicle occupants. No further information was provided.
