Westminster resident Lauryn Fazenbaker Diehl, 34, and their unborn baby girl, Rowen, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 22 at Carroll Hospital Center, leaving behind her husband and two young children.
A GoFundMe for the family had raised more than $56,000 as of press time.

Off-duty PA State Police Liquor Enforcement Officer, Benjamin J. Brallier, age 44, of Kennedy Township, formerly of Moon Township, was found stabbed while running near near the 1900 block of Hassam Road on Montour Trail on Monday, Oct. 21 at 2:52 p.m., as Daily Voice previously reported. Carroll County mom Jennifer Kassakatis Geilfuss died at home on Thursday, Feb. 1, according to her obituary on the Zumbrun Funeral Home website. She was 44 years old.
Jennifer was born in Texas but graduated from Liberty High School in Eldersburg, then settled in Westminster, her obituary says.
She considered being a mother to her son, Cody, her "most important and precious role," her obituary reads.
