Months after a violent rollover crash claimed the life of a child in Southern Maryland, a woman was arrested and charged, the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office announced. Lexington Park resident Ashley Nicole Nolan has been charged in an 18-count indictment by the Circuit Court for offenses that include negligent manslaughter for the March crash. The driver of a Ford-450 tow truck who struck and killed a 51-year-old man in April 2023 has been charged, police in Montgomery County announced on Friday afternoon. Kenneth McFadden Baldwin, 34, was arrested this week on a warrant charging him with multiple offenses for the fatal strike that took the life of Gaithersburg resident Juan Antonio Lamas Salcido last year. A 48-year-old Maryland man has been charged in a hit-and-run boat crash that left a 63-year-old woman dead last month, according to the Associated Press. Police believe Brownell Edds, Jr., of Cape Saint Claire, was operating the boat that struck Laura Slattery and her husband, of Pasadena, while watching fireworks on the Magothy River July 3.
