A 56-year-old woman died at an area hospital following a crash during the afternoon commute near the Howard and Montgomery County line, police say. Angela Marie Brill, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, has been identified as the woman who was killed in a crash involving her Chevy Malibu and a Toyota pick-up truck after being airlifted to the hospital. Fast-acting Maryland State Police troopers were able to come to the aid of a family of three when an accidental fire broke out, though a pair of pets perished in the blaze, according to the state’s fire marshal. D.C. firefighters saved an adult and child trapped in a burning building on July 9, officials said. Video footage showed firefighters in the 2800 block Gainesville Street using an aerial ladder to quickly remove the individuals from the building, D.C. Fire and EMS reported.
