A 22-year-old Maryland man has been sentenced for his role in a 2020 murder of a 17-year-old. Tyliek Anthony Spence, of Waldorf, was sentenced to life in prison with all but eight years suspended for his role in a murder on Thursday, March 7, State’s Attorney for Charles County Tony Covington said. Upon release, Spence will be on supervised probation for five years. Justice has been served for the family of a 17-year-old boy who was shot and killed during a botched drug deal in Maryland, authorities announced. A teenage assault suspect has been sentenced to years behind bars for his role in the shooting and attack of a 17-year-old during a drug deal gone wrong in Charles County, the state's attorney announced.
