On Tuesday, Sept. 3, Bushwood resident Deandre Terille Taylor failed to slow down at a white stop line, instead making a sharp right turn in his Ford Mustang and speeding away before getting out and taking off on foot. No serious injuries were reported after Florida resident Anthony Copozzi was able to safely put down his plane in St. Mary's County near an area farm in Clements.  Shortly after 5:30 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, state police say that troopers were called to investigate a reported plane crash at a field off of Bayside Road near Montpelier Road. These Maryland Stores Found In Compliance During Underage Drinking Sting Operation The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office pulled out all the stops during an undercover alcohol compliance sting, but nearly two dozen businesses didn’t fall for it and didn’t sell booze to an underage teen. Members of the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Alcohol Enforcement Unit conducted a series of alcohol compliance checks within St. Mary’s County at 18 businesses, all of which carded an 18-year-old underage cadet at each attempted purchase.
