Like a scene out of "Fast and Furious" a theft suspect jumped out of one stolen vehicle and temporarily onto the hood of another during a police pursuit in Charles County. District residents Dimiuan Paul Jackson and Robert Leroy Barnes, both 24, were arrested this week following an early morning investigation and subsequent chase after being busted breaking into cars, according to the sheriff's office. Two Women Hospitalized After Double Stabbing During Break-In At Maryland Home, Sheriff Says
Two women were hospitalized on Saturday in Lexington Park following a violent double stabbing during a break-in, according to the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office. Prince George's County resident Terek Demaury Ross, 28, was arrested after stabbing his victims and then attempting to flee in one of their vehicles before being apprehended by deputies in Calvert County. Police have identified the innocent driver killed by a wrong-way car thief during a police pursuit on I-695 earlier this week. Dimeka Thornton, 37, of Windsor Mill, was operating an Acura TSX when she was struck by a driver in a stolen car in the outer loop, on the ramp to Exit 18 to Liberty Road around 12:15 a.m. Monday, April 8, the Maryland Attorney General's Office said in a release. Four Delaware men are accused in a crime spree that stretched into Pennsylvania and allegedly included car theft, kidnapping, gunpoint robbery, and rape. Carjacker Who Attacked Driver After Ride Rejection Arrested In White Marsh: Police
The man who attacked a driver who declined giving him a lift and then stole his car in White Marsh has been arrested. Charles Hoffman, 35, approached the driver asking for a ride around 3:45 p.m. Sunday June 12 on the 5300 block of Nottingridge Road, Baltimore County police said.
