Some homeowners in Prince George's County got an unexpected visitor on Friday morning. First responders rushed to the 6200 block of Seminole Street in College Park shortly before 9:30 a.m. on Friday, when a car came to a crashing halt into a single-family home, according to authorities. The crash led to a partial collapse of the home, while the car came to rest on its side leaning against the chimney with a tree on top. Disaster was averted in Prince George's County when two cars crashed at an area gas station and went up in flames. Shortly before noon on Wednesday, fire crews were called to Sunoco in the 300 block of Washington Boulevard in Laurel, where there were reports of a two-car crash that led to a fire near the gas pumps that led to a fuel spill. Police have identified a 24-year-old man who was killed after losing control of his vehicle and crashing near a busy Prince George’s County intersection. Late on Tuesday, Aug. 29, officers from the Prince George’s County Police Department were called to the intersection of Allentown Road and Payne Drive, where there was a crash involving two vehicles that left Fort Washington resident Travon Gray with critical injuries.
