A 34-year-old man who terrorized banks and business owners over the course of several weeks in 2022 will spend more than a decade behind bars, federal authorities announced. Baltimore resident Dexter Nikoe Eaton was sentenced to 14 years in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release, for armed bank robbery, related to a series of bank and armed commercial robberies. A Queens man who made more than 12,000 calls to dozens of Congressional offices and threatened to kill a staffer has been sentenced to more than a year in prison, federal authorities announced. Ade Salim Lilly, 35, was sentenced to 13 months in prison, followed by 36 months of supervised release for making threats and "conducting a campaign of pervasive harassing communications against members of Congress," according to the US Attorney's Office. A Maryland woman has been sentenced to decades in prison for sexually exploiting a child, federal authorities announced on Tuesday. Hagerstown native Ashley Marie Tibbs, 34, has been sentenced to 20 years in federal prison, followed by a lifetime of supervised release for sexually abusing two children. According to her guilty plea, Tibbs sexually abused two minors who were between the ages of 2 and 5, which she filmed, and sent to John Balch in exchange for cash. A convicted sex offender from Anne Arundel County received prison time in Maryland for child porn offenses after targeting minors on social media, federal authorities announced. Pasadena resident Jacob Joseph Muir was sentenced to seven years in federal prison, followed by 30 years of supervised release after pleading guilty to one count of receipt of child porn. A 47-year-old predator who preyed on minors will spend decades in prison for sexually exploiting children in Maryland, federal authorities announced. Hagerstown resident Matthew Molnar was sentenced to 30 years in prison, followed by 15 years of supervised release for the sexual exploitation of a child.
