Disaster was largely averted on Monday morning when there was a reported explosion and fire inside a Cecil County home. First responders were called at around 9 a.m. on Oct. 21 to a home on Budds Landing Road in Warwick, where they were met with smoke emanating from the roof of the home. A Cecil County family came home to an unwanted surprise over the weekend when flames from an unattended burn barrel spread from a neighbor's backyard into theirs, according to the Office of the Maryland Fire Marshal. Man, 76, Killed In Accidental Two-Alarm Baltimore County Electrical Fire
An accidental electrical fire in Baltimore County resulted in the 10th fatality reported in 2024 after a 76-year-old man died at the hospital. Fire crews were called at around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday night to the 500 block of Shamrock Lane in PIkesville, when a two-alarm blaze broke out.
