One of those sons has also been charged in his cousin's murder.  Brandi Whisman, 42, of New Providence, was arraigned Tuesday, Nov. 14, on charges of endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors. Toddlers Rescued From Hot Car By Police Helicopter After Pursuit From MD Into PA, Officials Say A Maryland State Police helicopter was instrumental in rescuing two toddlers from a hot vehicle that was abandoned following a pursuit that ended in Pennsylvania on Tuesday afternoon, according to authorities. With the heat index throughout the region approaching or exceeding 100 degrees, troopers were taken on a ride by 25-year-old Confluence resident Samantha Cherry, who was allegedly intoxicated and now will face charges after the children were saved.
