Lothian resident Daniel Joseph Helmly, Jr. has been identified by investigators as the person who was fatally struck by a Ford Expedition early in the afternoon on Sept. 22. A 39-year-old WSCC worker was killed after being struck by a DUI driver early Sunday, Sept. 8 in Montgomery County, police said. Clinton's Ernest Joseph Dyson was working at New Hampshire Avenue and Rodney Road in Hillandale, when he was struck by a 2011 Volkswagen CC around 4:40 a.m., police said.
