Massive Sinkhole Shuts Lanes Of I-270 For Days A large sinkhole on Interstate 270 caused by a broken drainage pipe is expected to cause major traffic delays as officials prepare for at least a week of road closures, reports News4.  The sinkhole has closed two southbound lanes and the shoulder of Interstate 270 near the Interstate 370 exit.
