Metro Bus Murder: DC Man Convicted Of Maryland Killing Caught On Video A 35-year-old Washington DC man has been convicted of killing a 29-year-old man on a transit bus in Maryland last year, authorities said. Tyrone Curtis was found guilty by a jury in Montgomery County Circuit Court of first-degree murder for the April 5, 2023 killing of Amonte Cunningham on Jan. 24, before before the Honorable Jeannie Cho, the State's Attorney's Office said. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for April 5, 2024.
